Today I want to share a crafty project I did a year ago but ended up not sharing here on the blog. Last year I made felt flower headbands for all my nieces as a back to school gift (3 in total back then, now I have 4).
Ok let’s get started with the supplies.
What you will need
Mini roses (from scrapbook section)
Headbands (I bought ready made)
Cardstock (to make the template for the flowers)
I started out by making my felt flowers. I used this great tutorial by Texas Cottage. Sallie used flower templates from JesseKate Designs. Sallie’s tutorial is clear and easy to follow so please click over to her blog for a visit.
Here is a shot of all my blooms cut out and arranged the way I wanted.
I embellished my flowers with buttons and mini roses.
Here is a shot of the back of the felt flowers and how I attached them to the headbands.
Here are some finished headbands for you. These are so easy and fun to make and lovely to wear. How do you like my model friend ;).
Thank you for stopping by. See you next time.
