Hi there friends,
Today I want to share another simple party decoration with you. This is the finished product.
I had a coarkboard from the thrift store lying around which was just perfect for this job. For just 1,50 Euros I just could not resist bringing it home with me.
I first gave it a coat of spray primer. I did not bother taping off the fabric because I was going to be covering it anyway.
After that came time for the final paint colour.
After my paint was totally dry I covered my coarkboard with burlap.
Then came time to make the initial. I had a very cute little helper for this part. This was our little art project for the day. Draw the letter of your choice on some card stock and cut it out. Apply glue and then pretty glitter all over.
There you have it pretty glittery letter all done.
I applied the letter to my coarkboard and added some ruffled crepe paper around the edge of the coarkboard with my hot glue gun. I had some butterflies and flowers in my stash that worked just perfect for this project.
This initial sign is a great addition to your party treats table.
Come back tomorrow for my burlap banner tutorial.
Have a great day.
