It’s really nice going trough my list here. We have done lots just some decorating things still on the list to do. I have to thank my father in law for helping move in the wardrobe for RJ. My parents also helped out tremendously by giving us a hand with painting the new nursery. By the way the ‘we’ in that previous sentence is the hubster of course. I’m not really doing any wall painting at the moment being in my last trimester. Well ok I confess I did this tiny minuscule portion of wall last weekend. But that’s it I promise.
Well on to some other pictures.
We love books in this house so it’s not strange that the little guy has his own collection. We needed a place to store them and after seeing this tutorial on how to make a pallet wood bookshelves on Six Sisters Stuff I knew that that was it. I asked my step dad if he could make them for me and two weeks later they where sitting in our garage waiting for the next step.
Until two weeks ago I tackled them with leftover grey paint I used to make a gray wash. I just added water to my desired consistency and gave the wood two coats. I used a wash because I wanted to have the wood grain show trough.
We found the locker on Marktplaats (our Craigs List). It was a dull grey colour and we spray painted it white.
That’s all for now more details will follow as soon as I can get the sun to come out and play.
Have a great week. Till next time.
