Success Is Not A Straight Line

written by Nelly 17/09/2014
A few days ago I experienced a moment of such clarity that I wanted to share it with you today. It’s that aha moment that opened up my soul and unburden me of a lot of negative thoughts.

I was watching clips of Oprah’s Life Class with Steve Harvey. O yeah leave it to Miss Winfrey to provide a stage where real meaningful information is shared. Well mister Harvey was talking about the road to success (watch the clip below). He says that the road to success is always under construction. There are always things that will arise and that can cause you to deviate from your road. If you want to succede at anything you just need to stick with it and have blinders up.

The thing that struck a cord for me most was when the conversation turned to dealing with failiure. I have been spending so much of my time stressing and thinking about all the things that I was failing at (or failed at before) both profesionally and personally that I didn’t realize it was the universe telling me I needed to take another road. Don’t be afraid of trying new things because you don’t want to fail. It’s oke to fail it’s the way you find out that the road you are on is not the right one for you. I believe that with all my soul now and that’s why I wanted to share it with you today.

Don’t be afraid to go in another direction!
Till next time.
